• N-Series Respirators are not resistant to oil-based particles. When working in very dirty or dusty workplaces, service time should be limited to eight hours of use, unless an evaluation is done to prove that extended use will not significantly degrade efficiency levels.
• R-Series Respirators are somewhat resistant to oil-based particles. These should only be used for one working shift (or for eight hours of use) when oil is present. However, when oil is not present, there is no specific service time.
• P-Series Respirators are oil-proof, meaning they provide the highest level of protection against both oil and non-oil-based particles.
• Welding Approved Respirators offer unique protective layers that are designed to be flame-resistant as demonstrated per ASTM D2859-96 (#70015, #80649 do not meet ASTM D2859-96).

Respirators feature a contour molded nose bridge that seals easily and comfortably without a metal nose band. Softspun™ lining provides added comfort and durability. Flame retardants are added to decrease the flammability of the shell. For areas with an oil mist, use an R or P respirator.

Time restrictions on use may apply when oil mist is present.
