The KN95 is China's equivalent of the N95 respirator. The N95 is NIOSH certified, and the KN95 meets Chinese government standards.
Features:
- FFP2 rating
- High breathability
- Effective filtration
- 3D contour design with adjustable nose clip
- Foldable type
- Nose foam
- Ultrasonically welded headband
Performance testing reports that both the N95 and KN95 capture 95% of tiny particles (0.3 microns) and perform the same or similarly in other areas. The main difference is that N95 respirators are slightly more breathable (indicated by inhalation and exhalation pressure drop).
In guidance issued on April 3, 2020, OSHA stated that the KN95 is a reasonable alternative when N95 respirators and other foreign-made equivalents are not available.

IMPORTANT: KN95 face masks are not FDA-approved for use in healthcare settings. However, OSHA is currently allowing this KN95 mask for use in all other industries and for public use when NIOSH-approved N95 respirators and other appropriate alternatives are not available. For current guidance,
