Cotton vests offer about a 15% lower cost and 30% higher arc rating than their modacrylic counterparts. This line of cotton protective clothing is among the highest rated, most comfortable clothing on the market today. Vest is sewn with flame-resistant Nomex. thread and features 2" FR reflective tape. Vest offers one lower outside pocket and front hook-and-loop closures. Vest will remain flame resistant through 25 washes. Clothing has an arc rating of 9.5 cal/cm2 and meet NFPA 70E Hazard Risk Category 2, ASTM F1506 and ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Class 2 standards.
