Double sided butyl tape is an insoluble tape with an aggressive adhesive that bonds plastic sheeting to porous surfaces such as concrete in crawl spaces. The waterproof bond adheres best when the application surface is clean and dry. To obtain a bond at lower temperatures, external heat may be required.
