How does this affect the Construction Industry? This new standard will be dramatically impactful to many construction related companies all over the US. The concern primarily involves cutting, drilling or grinding of asphalt, brick, cement, concrete, drywall, grout, mortar, stone, sand and tile – activities found on many construction jobsites.

FACT: About two million construction workers are exposed to respirable crystalline silica in over 600,000 workplaces.
