CHIL-LOCK CP-240 is an economic, fire retardant, polymeric water-based asbestos removal agent and post removal sealer. As a post removal sealer, it is designed to mist, lock down, and seal free asbestos fibers and residual asbestos containing material (ACM) after removal. It effectively locks the ACM onto cleaned, exposed substrates and polyethylene sheeting within the containment area to prevent any loose fibers from becoming airborne. It adheres to structural steel and surfaces to be reinsulated for service temperature applications up to 250:F (121:C). It is also used as a primer on structural surfaces to be fireproofed in respray applications. CP-240 may also be used in a diluted form as an asbestos removal agent to mist and wet ACM for removal purposes in the containment area.
Foster 40-51 Mold Resistant Clear Coat has a low viscosity, which allows it to be easily applied by hand or with virtually any type of airless spray system. It works well on a wide variety of surfaces: wood, painted surfaces, wall board, masonry surfaces, metal. Foster 40-51 appears white when wet, but dries to a clear finish, allowing the original surface to be visible beneath the coating.
FOSTER® FOAMSEAL™ 30-45N Sealant is a gray, vapor barrier sealant designed for use with rigid thermal insulation including polystyrene foam. It remains malleable in joints and will not shrink or crack during repeated cycles of high and low temperatures.
FOSTER® PROTEKTOR® SEALANT is a single-component, penetrating encapsulation coating for abating asbestos fiber fallout (retention method).
FOSTER Cryolar™ 1K Vapor Stop is a ready-to-use, onecomponent, vapor stop sealant for use in cryogenic applications. It is specially formulated with select synthetic rubbers to form an elastomeric, vapor barrier film capable of spanning the temperature ranges found in cryogenic applications including LNG, ethylene and ammonia production. It is suitable for application to PUR and PIR foam, cellular glass and other rigid insulations in conjunction with aluminum, steel and masonry construction materials.
