The V-Cal Calibration Station is capable of calibrating, bump testing and charging the Industrial Scientific Ventis MX4 Diffusion Multigas Monitors (#76893, 76894 & 76896). A PC is not required to operate this stand-alone system, making the unit extremely portable and flexible.
The V-Cal Calibration Station is capable of calibrating, bump testing and charging the Industrial Scientific Ventis MX4 Aspirated Multigas Monitors (#76895 & 76897). A PC is not required to operate this stand-alone system, making the unit extremely portable and flexible.
DS2 Docking Stations provide automated calibration, record keeping and battery recharging, while allowing data to be relayed back to one central database via wireless/ethernet connectivity. iGas is an optional feature of DS2 Docking Stations that use a Smart Card to automatically configure calibration gas cylinders. If you purchase the iGas option, a Smart Card containing information about the gas cylinder will be attached to the neck of each of your cylinders. When the card is connected to the card reader, the system reads the information about the gas and automatically configures the Gas In connection in the DS2 Docking Station system.
A 3-year runtime and DualSense™ technology increase worker safety, regardless of bump test frequency, while reducing overall costs. DualSense uses two of the same type sensors for detection of a single gas, virtually creating a backup system for the sensor. This allows bump testing to be determined by the user, rather than a mandated schedule. A 100 dB audible alarm, strobe-emitting LEDs and vibration alarm warn the user of dangerous conditions. Alarm volume can be increased by about 10dB for higher-noise environments with the addition of the optional AlarmAmp™ (#26496). Unit operates on one field-replaceable 3.6-volt lithium-thionyl chloride battery designed to last 3-years in always-on mode.
