The Draeger Accuro Pump is constructed of non-metallic, corrosion-resistant materials to withstand harsh chemical environments. Unlike a piston pump, this unit requires no lubrication. Pump comes with a nylon case, tube opener, spare parts kit and allen wrench.
These robust single-gas detectors are made specifically to fit industrial safety requirements. Small in size and light in weight, these instruments provide easy, single-handed operation, even when wearing gloves. To ensure continuous operation, even when the unit is in a shirt pocket, the sensor has been carefully positioned to allow gas intake from both the top and the front of the device. Sensors offer a reaction time of just ten seconds and have a life of 2 years. In addition to a vibrating alarm, this unit emits an audible, multi-tone signal and a clear, 360º visual LED alarm. The large display shows both the gas concentration and the measurement unit. Monitors are able to store up to 60 events with dates and times, and can be linked to a PC.
Draeger-Tubes® are glass vials filled with a chemical reagent that react to a specific chemical or family of chemicals. A calibrated 100 ml sample of air is drawn through the tube with the above pumps. If the targeted chemical is present, the tube changes color to determine concentration.
The Draeger CMS (Chip Management System) uses a mass flow controller to take a precise air sample. Simply insert the CMS Chip and follow the instructions. TWA levels are typically analyzed in 1-2 minutes. The color change is measured with a photo-optical system, eliminating any human subjectivity. Upon completion of this process, the concentration is indicated on the LCD display. Unit is accurate within 4 -10% of measured values. This unit does not require gas calibration because all measurement and calibration information is stored on a bar code on the CMS Chip. A leak check is performed before each measurement, so you are assured of accurate indications every time. The on-board data recorder stores up to 50 measurements with the gas/concentration and date/time. Unit runs on four AA batteries and will deliver about 100 measurements per battery change.
This training CD identifies the monitor components, alarm signals and display icons. Video clips guide you through performing all of the functions of the monitor. At the end of the training course there is a competency test.
The Draeger X-act 5000 Pump effortlessly directs air through the appropriate tube. Simply sliding the bar code from a box Draeger tubes over the bar code reader on the pump automatically displays the substance to be measured, the number of strokes, and the measuring range. An intuitive menu structure allows for efficient operation with just a few button presses. This new concept reduces the average measurement time for short-term tubes which have a high number of strokes. Unit includes a shoulder strap, NiMH battery and power supply.
