This strap allows the worker who has been subject to a fall, and is suspended, to stand up in their harness and relieve the pressure being applied to the arteries and veins around the top of the legs. After a fall, the strap can be quickly and easily deployed and adjusted. The strap accommodates either having one foot or both feet in the loop at a time - it will relieve the pressure to both sides with just one foot in, allowing for added movement of the legs. The compact unit is easily fitted to most harness sizes, styles and brands.
This steel carabiner is an extremely versatile choice to keep your system securely connected. The self-closing/self-locking gate offers increased safety and security. Maximum working load is 3,600 lbs. and minimum tensile strength is 5,000 lbs.
Glyder2 Sliding Beam Anchor provides complete horizontal mobility when tied off overhead or at your feet. Anchor effortlessly slides across the beam on its wear pads, eliminating metal-to-metal contact. Dual beam grip adjustment prevents twisting and turning as it moves along the beam. The guarded locking mechanism protects the anchor from accidental disengagement. Unit has a user capacity of 420 lbs. and a minimum breaking strength of 5,000 lbs. Unit fits beam flanges from 3-1/2" - 14" wide and 1-1/4" thick.
The EZ Stop Retrax adjusts automatically to fit the working area. Unit retracts and expands smoothly and consistently from 2-1/2' - 6'. The retraction keeps the lanyard taut and close to the body at all times, reducing trip fall hazards, snagging on equipment and dragging. Unit consists of a shock type pack, tough polyester webbing and a polycarbonate thermoplastic retractor case. When subjected to fall arrest forces, a unique tearing action limits the maximum arresting force to 900 lbs.
Finally, a concrete anchor that will hold-up to its environment, for use in temporary or even permanent applications. Safe "hook-up" indicator notifies the user that the anchor has been installed properly. Anchor is an ideal connection point for shock-absorbing lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, or even horizontal lifeline systems. Unit installs into 11/16", 18 mm or 3/4" holes. Meets applicable OSHA and ANSI standards.
Replace your lanyard to reduce fall distances and improve your safety program with this self-retracting lifeline. Unit is ergonomically designed for ease-of-use and is ideal for direct connection to most harnesses. The unique design allows the user to attach one lifeline leg to the anchor point, move to a new location and connect the second, then disconnect the first and move again. This allows for 100% protection while moving from one location to another. The impact indicator allows the user to visually inspect the unit for a fall.
Full body harnesses are designed to retain the user in the event of a fall and distribute the impact (fall arrest) forces throughout the thighs, buttocks, chest and shoulders. Manufactured from high-strength, durable polyester webbing. Both are universally sized to fit workers up to 6'3" tall, 250 lbs. 420 lb. rated. Lightweight (2.4 lbs.) Vest-Type Harness provides maximum mobility. Color-coded straps and metal-to-metal mating-type leg buckles for easy donning. Chest strap is standard.
Tired of tripping over and snagging traditional lanyards? Shockwave2 Lanyards feature an internal elastic band that automatically extends to 6' and contracts down to approximately 4 1/2'. 6' in length.
Use this trolley in combination with one of our self-retracting lifelines. It glides effortlessly along the beam and provides horizontal mobility and fall protection. Trolley guards protect the wheels from damage and keep the beam clear of debris. Dual adjustment dials are fixed to the trolley for precise alignment in 1/8" increments. Unit fits beam flanges from 3" - 8" wide and 11/16" thick.
These lifelines use an innovative combination of lifeline material, energy absorption, and harness connection to reduce forces on both the worker and the edge. Where traditional lifelines are simply unreliable over sharp edges, this product is engineered to perform in the toughest sharp edge conditions. The backpack design stays tight to the harness and evenly disperses the unit's weight. These lifelines can be used with fall clearances as little as 16'. This product allows for 100% protection while moving from one location to another.
DBI-Sala Nano-Lok Tie-Back Self-Retracting Lifeline offers unrivaled jobsite flexibility. Quick-Connector attaches directly to back of most harnesses - no separate carabiner required. The 9' lifeline provides continuous fall protection without restrictions - it keeps the lifeline out of worker's way, reducing dragging, snagging and trip falls. The 3' tie-back leg provides options where traditional anchor connectors are not feasible. The hook is designed for tie-back and direct-to-anchor connections. The all-in-one, self-retracting lifeline/anchorage connector design reduces the amount of equipment required on the jobsite.
These redesigned lanyards are now lighter, stronger and more durable than ever. These units are 66% smaller and 40% lighter than previous models. The soft cover shock absorber that won't dig into your back while in use. This product features 1" polyester webbing with an abrasion-resistant layer for added durability and longevity.
This lanyard is specifically designed to withstand the forces that can occur during tie-back use. It can be operated with the use of only one hand, eliminating the pinching of fingers even while wearing gloves. Heavy-duty webbing provides five times more abrasion resistance for added safety. The hook has a 5,000 lb. capacity from every direction, including the gate.
