Amerex® Class D Fire Extinguisher: Sodium Chloride Powder, 30 lbs.
Extinsuisher releases a Sodium Chloride based dry powder that uses the heat from the fire to cake and form a crust that cuts off air and dissipates the heat from the burning metal. Use to extinguish fires involving magnesium, sodium, potassium, sodium potassium alloys, uranium, powdered aluminum and more. The "soft flow" extension applicator with built-in long-range nozzle keeps the operator's hands away from the extreme heat and prevents inhalation of toxic fumes caused by burning material. FM Listed. 6 year warranty.
