This thermometer is ideal for quickly (half-a-second) detecting elevated body temperature. The non-contact design eliminates need for replacement probe covers and other supplies. Unit measures body temperatures from 89.6 - 108.5ºF with an accuracy of 0.5º. Unit also measures surface temperature from 32 - 140ºF. The optimum measurement distance is 1.9" - 5.9" from the forehead. An adjustable alarm alerts user visually and audibly when temperatures exceed the programmed limit. Memory stores up to 32 readings for easy recall. Unit comes complete with complete with two AA batteries and a pouch.
