Chicago Protective Apparel Aluminized Hood: 19 Oz. Rayon & Kevlar, 7" X 11" Window
Aluminized clothing provides protection against radiant heat, sparks and molten metal mesh. Ideal for use in foundries, steel mills, casting shops, heat treating operations and welding shops. All clothing reflects 95% of radiant heat up to 2000ºF.Aluminized Kevlar/aramid fiber blend is a heavy-duty 19-ounce fabric that provides good protection from radiant heat, as well as good protection from sparks and molten splash. This fabric offers great durability and protection, plus Kevlar adds excellent abrasion and cut resistance. Hood comes with a ratchet headgear and has a swing-open faceshield with a replaceable gold film and Lexan® window.
