These cartridges and filters work with the 3M Respirator masks below. Masks can provide protection against contaminants up to 10 times the permissible exposure level (PEL) when used with the 6000 and 7000 series half facepiece respirators, or up to 50 times the PEL when used with the 6000 or 7000 series full facepiece respirator. The 3M filters 2000 series may be used alone, or placed on top of a cartridge, which requires the use of two 74949 filter adaptors.
